Owner
Lime Green Monkey is owned and operated by momtrepreneurs Kristin Anderson and Jessica Wedmore. Kristin is a writer, mother and saxophone player with a strong commitment to living sustainably. Jessica is a raw food instructor, Young Living Distributor and mother of two who also cares deeply about the environment. After meeting in a Women's Economic Venture course (www.wevonline.org), where Kristin developed the Lime Green Monkey business idea, they became fast friends who encouraged each other in business and life.

Muse
Our children are our inspiration, from their little runny noses, to their little mud covered gardening hands. They provide plenty of opportunities to cast away old, unsustainable habits, and think up green solutions to daily living.

Artists
Todd Anderson, Earl Arnold, William McVicar and Jeanne Sankey are just a few of the California artists that have created original artwork for our handkerchiefs and napkins. Todd Anderson's wonderful plein air artwork can be viewed at www.tandersonart.com (This is a hint for all of our other artists to get their websites up and running so we can show you off!).

Kristin's husband, Arie Jan van der Bom helped start the handkerchief revolution in our home, and is our web designer, illustrator and artist in residence. He brings a fresh European perspective and critical eye to our design process. www.vanderbomdesign.com

2011 Lime Green Monkey Encouragement Award
Lynn Stewart is the 2011 recipient of the Lime Green Monkey Encouragement Award. Owner of Accountable Services, Inc. in Santa Barbara, California, Lynn helped us get our bookkeeping in order and made numbers suddenly fun and understandable. She was also our first eco-corporate client, ordering a custom Lime Green Monkey handkerchief as her eco-corporate gift for the 2010 holiday season. Thank you Lynn for your continued encouragement and bookkeeping expertise!
