Through your purchases Lime Green Monkey supports WEV and Bici Centro!
In an effort to support non-profits in our community, Lime Green Monkey will donate $1 of every organic cotton FLOWER hanky online or in-person sale to Women's Economic Ventures for the Month of May, a non-profit that helps entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses and $1 of every online or in person organic cotton BICYCLE hanky sale will be donated to Bici Centro, a non-profit that offers youth bicycle education, adult bike mechanic and street cycling skills and bicycle awareness.

Earth Day 2009 was the official launch of Lime Green Monkey with 3 Snottykins designs. We will be celebrating our one year anniversary at earth day with 4 Snottykins designs and 4 Snotcouture designs, and just maybe a new design to be unvieled at the show, if the universe is willing :). We will be at the WEV booth (Women's Economic Ventures) as a proud graduate of this fantastic business development program. Lime Green Monkey Braves Los Angeles
Los Angeles--This past weekend, Lime Green Monkey paired up with Skullasstic, Ink (find them on Facebook!) to share a booth at Unique Los Angeles, December 5th and 6th at the California Market Center. It was very well attended and the parade of people going by our little booth gave us pause: did Lime Green Monkey bring enough Snottykins and Snotcouture Organic Handkerchiefs to assuage all those noses? The answer: our little Ford Focus is just not that big. The big question was, would the handkerchief revolution take foot in Los Angeles? And the answer: It has a toe hold. And like many revolutions, it is a grass roots effort. You purchase a handkerchief. You wash it. You use it. You feel how soft it is on your nose. You toss it in the laundry instead of the landfill. You realize it comes out of the laundry clean. You repeat the cycle. You purchase a Snottykin for a friend and share your success. You are now part of the handkerchief revolution. The trees wave their praises. Thank you to all the Unique Los Angeles Shoppers who joined the revolution!
